Environment description

Nordenau is located in the heart of Hochsauerland. Between Schmallenberg and Winter berg. Nordenau is also called the pearl of the Sauerland. There is a small bistro for breakfast, lunch and dinner right next to your holiday home. The bistro also serves as a bakery for your daily fresh rolls. Schloss Rappelstein was once built around the castle ruins, which you can visit 150 meters from your holiday flat. Your holiday home is located in the historic, picturesque village. Through the front door, you are 20 meters away from the Kuhrpark with a large children's playground and picnic areas. 500 meters away, you will find the healing gallery. Surrounded by mountains, forests and streams. A wonderful starting point for hiking, mountain biking or skiing. Because the ski slopes are only 2.7 kilometers away. 

But you can also enjoy all the facilities a town has to offer in the immediate vicinity. For example, there are beautiful swimming pools, shops, restaurants, an animal park, a mountain bike trail, a zipline and toboggan runs. You will also find lakes for swimming and water-skiing.  You are surrounded by nature reserves, including the Burghauser Steine. There are also many beautiful half-timbered villages in the area. In short, a great area for the whole family, sporty holidaymakers and those seeking peace and quiet. 

Conditions/extras

A deposit of up to 50% is due at the beginning of the chargeable cancellation period. Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge, later cancellations will be charged at 90% of the travel price.
