The comfortably furnished Landhaus Gnacke in the climatic health resort of Nordenau with its famous slate healing gallery offers two holiday flats for 2 people each.

With a kitchenette, living and dining room, separate bedrooms, spacious bathrooms, radio-CD player and flat screen TV, the bright holiday flats ("Klause" 50 m² and "Waldemei" 50 m²) with their modern comfort meet individual requirements.

Large beds with high-quality mattresses ensure a good night's sleep.

If you are travelling with up to 4 people and wish to share the living and dining area in the holiday flat, comfortable single and double rooms can be booked directly with Landhaus Gnacke. These rooms are equipped with their own bathroom, TV and fridge.

Environment description

Nordenau, a district of Schmallenberg, is a place of relaxation and an ideal starting point for excursions. 

Nordenau is situated at an altitude of 600 - 800 metres between the well-known holiday resorts of Schmallenberg and Winterberg. Long known as a hiking paradise and winter sports resort, it gained additional fame through the Nordenau slate healing gallery.

In 2011, Nordenau was one of the first places in NRW to be awarded the title of "State-recognised climatic health resort with healing cave operation". This award confirms that people with respiratory diseases can breathe easy in the Brandenholz slate gallery due to the almost germ-free air and experience relief from their illness.

The Landhaus Gnacke, a former village school in Nordenau, is centrally and quietly located with a marvellous view. Direct access to numerous hiking and walking trails. Café and restaurant are in the village. Winter sports facilities are available in the village or in the Winterberg-Altastenberg ski carousel 5 km away.

If you don't want to use your car for excursions, you can reach many destinations in the region free of charge by bus with the Sauerlandcard. With this holiday card, guests can also enjoy other services free of charge or at a reduced rate.

Whatever the weather, the Sauerland region offers a wide range of leisure facilities, attractions, sports facilities and excursion destinations.

The guest can cancel free of charge until 60 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 90% of the price of the reservation if they cancel in the 60 days before arrival.

The guest will be charged a prepayment of 90% of the total price of the reservation at any time. Please note that the prices do not include the visitors’ tax. This is payable separately on arrival.
