Welcome to Homberg (Efze), the fairy-tale-like town in the center of Germany!

Homberg is located on the German Fairytale Route that connects all of the places where fairytales, such as the ones of Grimm brothers, were set and written. Homberg´s old town with the typical German framework architecture makes you feel the fairytale-like atmosphere by yourself and provides a variety of possible activities! Just to name some of them, you can go shopping in the center or at the weekly farmer's market, have hiking or bike tours or go to see the national parks that are nearby. No matter if you travel on your own, with a partner or with your family – Homberg is the perfect place to stay. Go and see Homberg´s Saint Mary Church that enhances the romantic effect of the city and discover its historical meaning for the Reformation in the 16th century.

Our two apartments are close to the market square which combines the benefit of a calm location with the benefit of being able to reach the whole city center by walk. For couples and families we provide our apartement with a sleeping capacity of max 4 persons. For single travellers or couples that look for a rather simple and cheap place to stay, our „Pilgrim´s Room“ will suit best. Free WIFI is provided in both apartments. Car parking for free with our guest card on the street in front of the door.

Though we would love welcoming you personally: If you like we can leave the keys in a key box so that you can arrive with no hurry at any time.

Our house runs with green electricity and gas only and thereby supports the environment protection! And if you drive an electric car (like we do): There is a charging station just 50 meters down the street (2 x Type 2, 22 kW).

Conditions/extras

The final cleaning is included - there are no additional costs!

Value-added tax will be shown seperately on the invoice. Paypal / Credit Card payment is possible.

public transport: starting at Wabern Station, take bus line 450 to Homberg, get off at the stop "Busbahnhof"
by car: follow the interstate A7, take the exit 84 "Homberg (Efze)", follow the main road B232 to Homberg
