Description
The historic old town of Lindau is located on an island in Lake Constance. The island is connected to the mainland by a dam and a bridge. The small island of Hoy also belongs to Lindau. The new Lindau lighthouse with the Bavarian lion at the harbour entrance is just a few metres' walk away. Boat tours can be booked from there. Nearby you will also find a boat rental to explore Lake Constance undisturbed. A stroll through the town is worthwhile: historic railway station, old town hall, Maximilianstraße, Haus Cavazzen (town museum), former Barfüßerkirche, Münster "Unserer Lieben Frau", Sankt Stephan, Peterskirche, (also called Fischerkirche), Diebsturm, lakeside promenade, Pulverturm and much more. The Hotel Anker is a pure non-smoking hotel. Pets are not allowed.
Differing cancellation conditions
Individual bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival, after that 80% cancellation fee will be charged. Group bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 weeks before arrival. Different cancellation conditions may apply for conferences, trade fairs and groups.
Tourist tax information
