Rustico Casa Bianca

Outside you will enjoy your vacation! Especially the terrace with a view over Lake Como. By day, in the evening and at night. Wood for the two stoves and the barbecue can be found on the north side of the house (additional costs 50 euros per stay), as well as a cooling outdoor shower. The garden invites you to sunbathe. A 5 meter long wooden bench is available as a "sunbathing area". Connoisseurs have already nicknamed the Rustico Casa Bianca "Casa Banca". The Casa Bianca is a "tower" over 4 floors. On the first floor there is a fully equipped fitted kitchen to German standards and a kitchen table with corner bench. From here you have direct access to the 20 square meter terrace. Large windows and glass doors offer you an exceptional view over Lake Como from every room. The gas central heating provides warmth (gas costs according to consumption). On the 1st floor is the 1st bedroom with double bed and a balcony. There is also a small bathroom with shower and toilet. On the 2nd floor is the 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds. There is also a bathroom with a large shower, toilet and washing machine. On the ground floor there is a lounge with sofa, music system and TV (German channels via satellite Astra 19.2) as well as a guest bed. A perfect place to "get through" a rainy day or two. A Swedish stove also provides cozy warmth under the roof. Two large windows in the gable ensure that the lake is "at your feet". A skylight allows quick cooling on hot summer days through cross ventilation. Please note: WLAN, electricity, gas for heating, firewood for the Swedish stoves and for barbecues, as well as towels and bed linen are to be paid for separately before arrival according to individual use and consumption. Check-in and check-out regulation

Please always contact the landlord well in advance of your arrival to discuss the arrival time. Please call 1 hour before arrival then our house manager. Thus, the personal handover of Casa Bianca will work in time. Arrival between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. possible. Departure between 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Directions

Coming from Germany, there are 4 ways to get to Saliana: 1. via the Splügen Pass (Munich - Saliana = 401 km). Munich - Lindau - Chur - Splügen - Chiavenna - Dubino - Sorico - Domaso - Dongo - Pianello del Lario - Saliana 2. over the St. Bernardino (Munich - Saliana = 462 km) Munich - Lindau - Chur - Splügen - St. Bernardino - Bellinzona - Lugano Nord - through Lugano - Menaggio - Pianello del Lario - Saliana 3. over the St. Gotthard (Zurich - Saliana = 244 km) Zurich - Altdorf - Wassenen - Andermatt - St. Gotthard - Bellinzona - Lugano Nord - through Lugano - Menaggio - Pianello del Lario - Saliana 4. over the Julier and Maloja (Munich - Saliana 437 km) Munich - Lindau - Chur - Thusis - Julier Pass - Silvaplana - Maloja Pass - Chiavenna - Dubino - Sorico - Domaso - Dongo - Pianello del Lario - Saliana Arrived in Pianello del Lario, a road leads to the Sports Bar in the direction of Saliana. Always follow the signs and not your sat nav. The last turn to the right leads to a dead end with a large public parking lot. From there it is only a few meters walk down the hill to reach Casa Bianca. Follow the steps down to Pianello, keeping left until an archway with a small sign "Casa Bianca" appears on the right. After 20 steps turn left to the entrance of the "Casa Bianca". You will find a handcart for transporting your luggage below the terrace. For the arrival in the dark it is advisable to take a flashlight (or a bright cell phone display).

Differing cancellation conditions

The guest can cancel free of charge until 60 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 90% of the price of the reservation if they cancel in the 60 days before arrival.  

Tourist tax information

Please note that the prices do not include the visitors' tax. Should a visitors' tax be required at the place where you are staying it is payable on arrival. (0,50 EUR per night per person)  

Important payment information and other conditions

Payment is made on the day of arrival, we do not require a deposit. Please note that the prices do not include the visitors' tax. This is payable separately on arrival. Usually we charge a deposit of 500,-- Euro in advance. This corresponds to the deposit. Final payment then on site upon arrival in cash. Refund of the deposit in cash then on site after house handover at the end of their vacation.
