Die Carschinahütte wurde im Jahre 1968 erbaut, 1993 erweitert und im Sommer 2025 renoviert. Sie bietet heute Unterkunft für 62 Personen, aufgeteilt in 9 Zimmer mit 2-13 Schlafplätzen. Das Mitnehmen eines eigenen Hütten-Schlafsackes (Baumwolle oder Seide) ist obligatorisch. Grössere Gruppen fühlen sich ebenso wohl wie Familien oder Einzelpersonen. Tagsüber Bewirtung mit hausgemachten Kuchen und Spezialitäten aus dem Bündnerland, abends gibt es jeweils Suppe, Salat und einen währschaften Hauptgang, auch einen vegetarischen (im Voraus anmelden). Bei schönem Wetter wird auf der aussichtsreichen Terrasse serviert. Das Abendessen ist um 18.30 Uhr (bei späterem Eintreffen bitte informieren). Condizione/supplemento Hunde sind auf der Carschinahütte willkommen, in den Zimmern jedoch nicht erlaubt. Sie können bei vorheriger Anmeldung für eine Umtriebsgebühr von CHF 10.- in der Hundebox im Vorkeller übernachten. Nach der Renovation im Sommer 2025 steht ab sofort kein Winterraum mehr zur Verfügung. Übernachtungen sind in der unbewarteten Zeit somit nicht mehr möglich.
