Lavaux Heritage Trail

Description

Every Saturday, meet at Chexbres railway station at 10am for a two-hour guided walk, followed by a wine tasting. From the balcony overlooking Lake Geneva, you'll plunge into a landscape that has been shaped by man for centuries. Through the steep paths of the Lavaux vineyard terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, let yourself be guided into the fascinating world of a thousand-year-old site.
A certified guide will guide you through the different facets of Lavaux's heritage: from the history of this steeply sloping vineyard to that of the passionate winegrowers, not forgetting the age-old skills and traditions. You'll finish your tour with a friendly drink, and a glass of Chasselas, the king of Lavaux grapes!
