The Ruhr Museum is the regional museum of the Ruhr area. This ticket includes admission to the Ruhr Museum and the Portal of Industrial Heritage.

Das Ruhr Museum befindet sich in der ehemaligen Kohlenwäsche der Zeche Zollverein, Schacht XII in Essen. Es existiert seit dem 1. Januar 2008 als unselbstständige Stiftung innerhalb der Stiftung Zollverein in der Trägerschaft des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, des Landschaftsverbandes Rheinland und der Stadt Essen. Als Regionalmuseum zeigt es in seiner Dauerausstellung die gesamte Natur- und Kulturgeschichte des Ruhrgebietes.

Opening hours: Mon.-Sun.: 10am-6pm
Note: You will receive your tickets upon presentation of the booking confirmation on the 24-metre level of the former coal washer at the counter of the Ruhr Visitor Centre.
Price information: Children under 18 have free admission.
For pupils & students under 25 years, handicapped from 70% M.d.E., recipients of ALG I & II as well as social welfare a reduced admission price applies.
