In the Hanover district of Vinnhorst, you will find Hotel Mecklenheide, a modern city hotel offering bed & breakfast accommodation with a personal touch. The advantageous location makes it attractive to both business travellers and tourists. Whether you are on a business or city trip, you will always reach your destination fast and easily. From here, you are within easy reach of the trade fair grounds and the neighbouring district of Stöcken, where major companies such as VW Nutzfahrzeuge and Continental are based. 44 comfortably appointed rooms are waiting for you.

During reception times, we shall be pleased to serve you hot and cold drinks at our bar.

Special tip for our cyclist visitors: Just a few meters from our front door, you will find the “Green Ring” cycling trail, which winds its way all around Hanover.

 

A valid credit card is neccessary for a late arrival after 10p.m.. Please get in touch with the hotel directly.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge for children's cribs.

All children under 6years stay free of charge when using existing beds.

All older children are charged 5 € and adults are charged 10 € per person and night for extra beds.

By car

A7
Driving from the direction of Hamburg-Bremen, take the A352 towards Dortmund at motorway intersection Hanover-Nord. Leave the A352 via exit Engelbostel and turn off right onto Hannoversche Strasse, which becomes Schulenburger Landstrasse. After approx. 3 km, you will see the hotel on the left hand side.

Driving from the direction of Kassel, take the A2 towards Dortmund at motorway intersection Kreuz Ost. Turn off the A2 via exit Herrenhausen and drive along the B6 in the direction of Hannover Zentrum. At the second set of traffic lights, turn left onto Mecklenheidestrasse. After approx. 3 km, cross Schulenburger Landstrasse and you will see the hotel directly in front of you.

Driving from the direction of Berlin-Dortmund, leave the motorway via exit Herrenhausen and drive along the B6 in the direction of Hannover Zentrum. At the second set of traffic lights, turn left onto Mecklenheidestrasse. After approx. 3 km, cross Schulenburger Landstrasse and you will see the hotel directly in front of you.

Die freundliche Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption am Anreisetag.

(-) What did you not like?

Am zweiten Tag war mein Zimmer nicht abgeschlossen, es ließ sich mit Türklinke ohne Schlüssel öffnen. Ich habe es abends bemerkt, d.h. es könnte den ganzen Tag über ohne Schlüssel zugänglich gewesen sein. Im Frühstücksraum roch es schon um 7 Uhr früh nach Zigarettenrauch, weil die Raucher auf der Terasse standen und der Rauch nach drinnen zog. Das Frühstücksbuffet war eher spärlich und fast lieblos gestaltet.
