Nehmen Sie die Abfahrt am Kreuz Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen und fahren Sie weiter auf der B10 Richtung Zentrum. An der Pragsattel-Kreuzung halten Sie sich rechts weiter auf der B27 (Heilbronner Straße). Beim Hauptbahnhof fahren Sie weiter geradeaus und folgen der Beschilderung "Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle". Bei der Kreuzung Berliner Platz biegen Sie rechts in die Seidenstraße ein. Das Maritim Hotel liegt auf der rechten Straßenseite.

Von Süden: A8 (über München - Augusburg - Ulm)
Nehmen Sie am Kreuz Stuttgart-Degerloch die Ausfahrt Richtung Möhringen (B27). Folgen Sie der B27 Richtung Zentrum, über die Weinsteigen bis zum Charlottenplatz. Überqueren Sie die Kreuzung Charlottenplatz und fahren Sie in den Schlossplatz-Tunnel. Im Tunnel halten Sie sich links und gelangen auf die Schlossstraße. Folgen Sie nun der Beschilderung "Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle". Bei der Kreuzung Berliner Platz biegen Sie rechts in die Seidenstraße ein. Von Westen: A5/A8 (über Karlsruhe - Pforzheim)
Am Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart A8/A81 nehme Sie die Ausfahrt Richtung S-Zentrum/S-Vaihingen und folgen Sie der A831. Diese Autobahn wird zur Bundesstraße B14. Folgen Sie der B14 bis zum Kreisverkehr "Schattenring". Dort nehmen Sie die erste Ausfahrt Richtung Waiblingen/S-Zentrum. Fahren Sie weiter geradeaus. Nach dem Heslach-Tunnel biegen Sie an der Kreuzung Österreichischer Platz links in die Paulininstraße/B27a ein. Folgen Sie der B27a bis zur Kreuzung Rotbühlplatz, dort biegen Sie links in die Fritz-Elsass-Straße ein. Überqueren Sie die Kreuzung Berliner Platz, um in die Seidenstraße zu gelangen. "We arrived at 14:50. We were told the check-in is upon 15:00, this means (just only 10 minutes in advance) The young lady at the reception called to check whether the room was ready but it wasn't. Then we left shopping and we came back to the hotel around 21:00. Once we entered into the room we realised that the Minibar had a Iogurt inside which was not ours and Security box was useless. Following morning we highlighted these issues at least twice at the reception, to Mr. Becker, who assured this would be solved immediately. After 24h, we arrived to the hotel around 20:00 but the issues remained, this means that we and/or Mr. Becker were totally ignored. Then we claimed angerly for third time, Mr. Yigit made fun of it (laughing) and his behaviour in front of us, the CUSTOMER then and after... Has a lot of room for improvement, to say it nicely. Following day when we came back to the hotel around 17:30 after having spent the day outside, we decided to relax a bit at the Spa. But (another) surprise, the water in the swimming pool was cold and the "Quelle" did not work. The room stinked. We left after 3 nights and nothing changed except that I personally brought the Iogurt to the reception as the cleaning service was unable to remove it. On the other side I have to say that a transfer to other room was offered from your side once I claimed at the third time but being already installed was more an inconvenience rather that a favor. BTW, to insinuate that the Iogurt was ours , treating me as a liar, pissed me off even more and it does not help to solved this I fulfilled an opinion sheet, and supposedly a mail was sent to the hotel director on Saturday evening but no feedback at all (another lie from your side?? ) Supposedly for a Hotel of the category you pretend to be (4*), this shouldn't be acceptable but it is clear you have other criteria. Honestly I don't trust either this outcome will be treated seriously from your side having the experience I had with you, or maybe I'll get a standard reply like you acknowledge it and you'll take actions... On the other hand this won't be a problem, as this won't happen again because I'll never be again at your facilities, even it would be for free. Thanks for having ruined our return to the neighbourhood as we were living nearby (Traubenstrasse) many years ago and we thought always to come to your hotel once we come back."

"At breakfast, the omelet station cook was very rude. We arrived at the station exactly 7 min before closing and the cook told us it was closed. This would have been ok, however, it was in the manner in which he said it. It was as if he wanted to leave and was bothered that people had showed up to order. I don't believe this is an appropriate behavior if you are working in the hospitality industry. It now reflects badly on the hotel. Even if everything else goes wonderful, the guest will leave with the a bad experience, how ever small the infraction. We did however thoroughly enjoy our experience at check in and check out. The front desk staff was extremely nice and welcoming."

"I fell from one surprise into another. Breakfast was not included in my reservation. At the breakfast counter the young girl was rude. Send me away. Had to go to the main desk. The hotel it says it a 5 star. I needed to cold holders to be frozen for my medication. The front desk refused to help or give a suggestion. Etcetc Hairs in the bathroom not mine. Had to collect my own clean towels. My first time in your exclusive hotel. Anightmare. Honestly hope not that I have to stay there again."

"This was my first stay in a Maritim hotel, even though I visit Germany quite frequently, and have been a MyMaritim member for nearly 2years now. This review is based on a 5 night stay, this review was for one night booked directly on the Maritim website, and another 4 nights booked previously through Booking.com, and you will find my same review on their website. I had read most of the guest reviews on hotel website and Booking.com before making a reservation, and some did concern me, however most complaints should never have needed to be included in a review, as people should just sort the issue out during their stay. I also emailed the hotel direct BEFORE my arrival to check the room and bed type was correct, then there is no argument necessary when you arrive. Considering the size of the hotel and the number of rooms it has, as well as conference facilities, I think the service is excellent. I would agree that the air conditioning is not good, or in my case non-existent as I was advised that it had been turned off to cool as it was autumn and cold outside, this was not the case during my stay in October and room was very hot, and I had to sleep with window open which was noisy. It is about a 15 minute walk to the main shopping area with restaurants and bars etc. but there is a tram stop a 3 minute walk away from hotel, which takes 4-5 mins to get to this area. There are also a few restaurants near the hotel, as well as the coffee shop, restaurant and piano bar in the actual hotel. Yes, breakfast can get busy, but with over 550 rooms, this is to be expected, however I always got a table, and on Saturday & Sunday they also opened up the adjoining main restaurant and large conference room fir additional space, which was a very sensible thing to do. There always appeared to be a large amount of staff on duty, and I can honestly say everyone I met was very friendly, polite and professional. Especially Patrick and the rest of the team in the piano bar, who always gave an excellent service, even when the bar was very busy, so thank you. Overall, I had a great stay, and would stay again, although probably not in summer due to air conditioning issues commented by other guest reviews."

"I would have appreciated instead or in adition to the Nesspresso unit, a kettle, in the room. A floor plan, or simple drawing of the hotel distribution , will help, for those, like us, who are located in the "other building" not in the main one. It was a littel bit odd, crossing the long underground aisle. Maybe it was only a coincident but we seemed the only guest in that side. In a first moment , this result to us certainly odd, as well as having direct views into the graveyard looking through our two windows. We got used to it, in he following days, but initially our arrival wasn´t the best. Fortunatelly rest of our experience , breakfast, swimming poll, gym, garage facility, and people working in all the areas made our stay really good."

"The €24 breakfast is pretty steep, even with the nice variety of foods and level of staff. Laundry service was expensive, too. This hotel is primarily priced and designed for business persons and meetings (and their expense accounts). The room was a tad warm/humid. I did not find easy access to climate controls. Having said all that, the room rate and quality for this tourist was a good value. All staff, at all levels, were friendly, accessible and highly competent. I stayed for three nights 19 May through 22 May Wednesday morning with two friends (across two rooms). For a return visit to Stuttgart, I would strongly consider returning."

"We were a bit surprised by the request to pay for the accommodation in advance as soon as we arrived at the reception. It is very unusual in 2023 to ask for extra payment for a better wifi internet connection. (The regular connection was very bad, luckily we have our own mobile internet of good quality.) The bathtub in the bathroom was leaking water everywhere. We had to ask for soap and shower gel every time, the staff never left it in the bathroom. On the other hand, the staff was quick to respond and everyone was very friendly. Bearing in mind that and the fact that the breakfast was outstanding, the accommodation at the Maritim Hotel in Stuttgart was a very good value for money. We had a great time in the city during the Jazzopen festival."

"Hotel and staff are great and will certainly look to stay with Maritim on future visits to Germany. We were on a 6 day SmileOn package which is in fact 3 x 2 day SmileOn packages. The restaurant staff were not aware of our inclusive dinners as they operate an A La Carte menu system so didn’t know what we were entitled to. Also when asking about mini bar prices we were told by reception that as we were in a Junior Suite the drinks were inclusive for each 2 day package. However when we complained that the drinks were never replenished we were told that the inclusive drinks are only supplied once on check in regardless of the length of stay. We have no criticism of the hotel staff as the SmileOn package is a corporate package from the head office in Darmstadt so there appears to be a lack of detailed communication between head office and the individual hotels. THAT ASIDE HOWEVER STILL A GREAT STAY AND, ONCE AGAIN, GREAT STAFF."

"It would be helpful if your hotel explained how far it is from the bedroom to the communal areas. For somebody with mobility issues, the length and challenge of the walk from bedroom - at far end of Park Wing - to the restaurant was far too much - on the final morning we forego breakfast as we could not face a walk to breakfast and a little later with our luggage. I would not recommend or visit this hotel again simply because of the physical demands of the building! Just be up front about the potential problem for some visitors."

"The TV was out for 4/6 nights we stayed. The A/C did not cool the room and the Hotel coffee bar was not open enough hours. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice (once you figured out how to stop the water from leaking out of the shower and onto the floor), and the amenities were quality. The coffee was either not refilled or 3/6 days we were not given spoons. Nothing we couldn’t overcome."

"The stay was pleasant overall. I was just not satisfied with the internet connection that was very slow and the fact that no room service is available after 21.30 and that the offer of self-service snacks is very limited. With such a limited time-range for the room service, the range of snacks in self-service should not be limited to sticks and nuts."
