Hotel Krone bed and breakfast welcomes you to the beautiful village of Kirchzarten! Here you'll find your perfect home away from home. Favorably located between nature and the town, Hotel Krone reopened in 2016 after extensive renovations. The historic barn where horses were once bred more than 225 years ago is now home to romantic hotel rooms and suites, each complete with thoughtful details that keep the barn and its memories alive today. Our close proximity to the center of Kirchzarten allows our guests to enjoy the nearby shops, restaurants, and excellent transportation connections. On the other hand, our hotel also offers a picturesque view of the Black Forest, the ideal place for hiking, mountain biking, and other outdoor excursions.
Check-in and check-out regulation
Please contact the hotel in advance to discuss the time of your arrival. Check-in is possible as of 2 pm, check-out until 11:30 am.
Directions
Arriving by car: Take the A5 and exit at “Freiburg Mitte”. From there, take B31 towards Donaueschingen until you reach Kirchzarten. Alternately, you can take the A81 until you reach Donaueschingen; from there, take B31 to Kirchzarten. Turn onto Hauptstraße once you’ve reached the town center. Arriving by train: Kirchzarten has a train station that is very close to the hotel. You can reach the hotel from there in just 10 minutes on foot. You can also reach the hotel in just 3 minutes by taking bus number 271 towards Adler, Oberried. Upon arrival, our guests receive the KONUS card for the complimentary use of regional busses and trains.
Differing cancellation conditions
The guest can cancel free of charge until 2 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 90% of the price of the reservation if they cancel in the 2 days before arrival.
