Description
“We have to build a city, a whole city.” – These words by architect Joseph Maria Olbrich have gone down in history. The Darmstadt ensemble is architecturally and artistically groundbreaking and marks a turning point in architecture and art on the threshold of the 20th century.
Experience a tour of the Mathildenhöhe with explanations of the history of the artists' colony founded in 1899. You will gain an impression of the entire ensemble: studio house, exhibition building and artists' houses. The visit to the Wedding Tower with a view of the Prince's Room, the Wedding Room and a visit to the viewing platform is also included.

The maximum group size is 25 people. A visit to the Großes Haus Glückert is part of this tour (subject to availability). An individual meeting point is possible by arrangement.

Admission to the Wedding Tower is EUR 2 per person. This price is only valid for groups (10 or more people). For smaller groups (up to 9 people) the regular admission price of EUR 3 per person applies. Children under 12 years have free admission. Without prior booking, admission must be paid directly on site!
