Potatoes, art and blossoms – der Herrngarten und Prinz-Georg-Garten

Since 1811, the Herrngarten has also been open to 'normal people' and has since developed into Darmstadt's 'good room' and green lung in the city center. The adjoining Prinz-Georg-Garten impresses with its geometric borders, fountains and sundials - and the delicious vegetables that the gardeners grow there and sell in the nursery.
