"It started very poorly with a very unfriendly reception with Adel Furchichi at the reception. He never welcomed us or smiled the entire experience, and made no effort hide his exasperation and annoyance at having to check us in. I am amazed that you choose to have such a poorly suited person working checkin. The room had stains on the carpet, and a poorly functioning shower, poor temperature controls but was otherwise fine. Housekeeping did a good job tidying each day."

"The standard room was much nicer than we expected and the bathroom had a comfortable size too. The internet worked well. Only negative factors: the mattresses were too soft and the carpets had stains on them. A safe would have been good to have."

"Big hotel close to train station. Staff very helpful. However, there were a few issues which surprised me. Firstly, although the room was large, it was very dark even with all the lights on. There were only two built in bedside lights, a lamp on the desk and a small spotlight near the door. I think all the bills were only 40w. The only bright light was in the bathroom. There was also a lack of power sockets in the room, which together with no USB sockets meant it difficult to charge and use electrical items. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine which needs to be plugged in near the bed. There were no plug sockets near the bed. It looked like there used to be but they had been taken out and replaced with round blanks. Therefore I had to borrow a extension lead from reception and 'daisy chain' it across the room to the side of the bed. Not somethingi would expect to do in a hotel in this range. However, it seems to be the norm in Accor hotels, as I had previously stopped in an Ibis in Colmar with same issue. By using the desk plug for cpap machine, there was no where to plug in anything else. The desk lamp took another plug and because of lack of lighting, could not be unplugged as biggest light source. I meant that phones/tablet had to be charged using bathroom sockets - not ideal and not expected in this standard of hotel. I moved to a small city center hotel for my last 2 nights in Frieburg where there was eight plug sockets and 8 uses in the room and itcwas only a single room. This penny pinching on electrics would put me off using another Accor hotel unless I check first the ethical situation Secondly, I know hotel drinks are expensive and business travels claim back on expenses, but 10 euros for a medium glass of wine was a bit excessive."

"Tired, dated hotel. Hard beds. No way to charge phone by bed. Hairdryer that barely blows any wind and a shower that almost blasts the skin off your back. Fire alarm at 1am one night where we all trooped downstairs and in the end all went upstairs again without any explanation as to what happened."
