What were your negative impressions?

Dass man in Basel auch ausserhalb der Fasnacht ab und zu mit Guggenmusik rechnen muss - naja - aber Guggenlärm im September vom frühen Abend bis 23Uhr direkt vor dem Hotel ist unzumutbar. Das hat nichts mit Kultur und nichts mit Brauchtum zu tun.

- sehr freundlicher Empfang inkl. Welcome-Drink in lauschiger Lounge - top Zimmer (zuoberst) mit wundervoller Aussicht auf die nächtliche Rheingasse und das Münster - sehr stimmig! - ruhig. Sehr ruhig. - schön und mit viel Stil eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in diesem Zimmer - angenehmes Bett (nicht zu hart, nicht zu weich. Einfach perfekt) - die vielen grosszügigen Geschenke (Schwimmsäcke, Gutzli, Gutscheine für Drink in der Bar) haben uns überrascht und sehr gefreut - Tee, Kaffee, Wasser (mit oder ohne Pfupf) direkt auf der Etage - reichhaltiges, abwechslungsreiches Zmorgebuffet mit freundlicher, sehr zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Bedienung sowie schöner Sicht auf den Rhein.

Das Personal des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer/ Junior Suite ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Die Lage des Hotels hat eine perfekte Verkehrsanbindung.

Très bon accès avec le tram. L'accueil à l'hôtel est très professionnel et sympathique. Hôtel très bien situé et chambres au calme.
