Description
The small, family-run Hotel zum Löwen has over 20 rooms and is located in Lehen, a quiet district in the west of Freiburg. The hotel is centrally located and is very easy to reach. There is public transportation in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (the bus stop is 40 m away) that you can take to reach Freiburg city center in a matter of minutes. In addition, the hotel is a mere 1.5 km away from highway A5. A lavish breakfast with table service awaits you from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Differing breakfast times are also possible upon request. A large number of free parking spaces for cars (some covered) are available to our guests. Parking for motorcycles and bikes is available as well.
Directions
By car: Coming from highway A5 from the direction Basel/Karlsruhe: Highway exit "Freiburg-Mitte". Drive on B31a towards "Freiburg-Stadtmitte". Take the first exit "Lehen, Mundenhof". Turn left in the direction "Lehen". Follow this street (Breisgauer Straße) towards the center of town and the Hotel zum Löwen - street number 62 - will be on the left side of the street after about 200 m. The entrance to the hotel is located in the back right of the courtyard. Coming from the city center/central station: Drive along B31a towards highway A5. Drive down the feeder road to the exit "Lehen, Mundenhof". Turn left in the direction "Lehen". Follow this street (Breisgauer Straße) towards the center of town and the Hotel zum Löwen - street number 62 - will be on the left side of the street after about 200 m. The entrance to the hotel is located in the back right of the courtyard. Coming from the university hospital: Turn right onto Robert-Koch-Straße. Turn right again onto Breisacher Straße. After about 800 m turn left onto Berliner Allee. Then turn right into Sundgauallee. Now follow the street and continue straight for about 2 km. The hotel is located at Breisgauer Straße 62 on the right side of the street. The entrance to the hotel is located in the back right of the courtyard. By public transportation: Coming from the central station: There is a tram station on the bridge above the train tracks. Take tram line 1 towards Landwasser and get off at the "Paduallee" stop. Follow Breisgauer Straße into the town of Lehen. The Hotel zum Löwen (street number 62) is located on the right side of the road (about a 600 m walk). Alternatively, you can take the bus lines 19, 31, or 32 from "Paduaallee" and get off at the second stop, "Kirchbergstraße". The Hotel zum Löwen is located on the right side of the road about 10 meters from the bus stop. The entrance to the hotel is located in the back right of the courtyard.
