Located in the northwestern corner of Freiburg, our hotel is the ideal starting point for many unforgettable excursions. You can reach the historic city center by car, or for the environmentally conscious by tram in just 10 minutes. The SC football stadium is also easily reached with the tram. The new trade fair center, the Kongresszentrum, the University of Freiburg, and the University Hospital are all located in the immediate vicinity.

Directions

Directions to the Hirschengarten by car: Exit the A5 at exit 62 (Freiburg-Mitte) and follow the signs in the direction Freiburg - Titisee - Neustadt. Take the first exit marked "Lehen" and turn left onto Breisgauer Straße. Follow it across the river "Dreisam", staying on Hauptstraße, until you see the Hotel Garni, house number 51, on your right after approx. 300 meters. With the train: Starting at the platform, go in the direction Stadtbahnbrücke. The elevator or the escalator takes you up to the tram stop. Taking Line 1 for 6 stops, head towards Landwasser and get off at the stop "Paduaallee". From there, you only have to walk about 300 meters to Hotel Garni Hirschgarten (with house number 51, not to be confused with the adjacent Guest House + Hotel Hirschen).
